Importance of Grafting Fruit Seedlings

Grafting is a horticultural technique where a scion (the upper part from a desired variety, chosen for its superior fruit quality) is joined to a rootstock (selected for strong roots, disease resistance, and adaptability).

This is the standard method for propagating most commercial fruit trees.
